“I always strive for the most natural looking results…’The Natural Northwest look.”
Dr. Voss’ skill and artistry is based on 17 years of experience and a ‘great natural eye.’ She says she thinks of herself as a physician and an artist because being a surgeon allows her to work with her mind and her hands.
I am in my patients’ corner.”
Dr. Voss has formed many long-term relationships with patients built on trust and patient satisfaction. In many cases, she takes care of entire families through the stages of their lives. She states, “I have a personal interest in my patients. I give them my opinion and educate them on why I am recommending a certain course of action."
“I have experience solving most dermatologic challenges.”
As a dermatologic and cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Voss spends two days a week in the operating room performing advanced skin cancer surgery for melanoma, basal cell carcinoma of the head and neck and liposuction of the neck and body, as well as laser and fractional resurfacing. In addition, she rounds out her artistic sculpting abilities with aesthetic fillers such as Restylane, Radiesse, and Juvederm; fat transfer and sclerotherapy (vein treatment).
“What I do is empowering. Patients don’t have to let time take away their self-image. I help people fight back.”
Dr. Voss has been performing Tumescent Liposuction to contour the neck and body for 17 years. She does the procedure at NWFace & Body’s in-house operating suite, which carries the state’s highest certification. This technique allows the procedure to be completely done under local anesthetic, where she is able to gently yet thoroughly remove unwanted fat in the neck and body. “Patients can walk out of the procedure, drive the next day, can usually go back to work within a few days and start exercising in three days,” she says.
“Being in the media allows me to educate people about the current scientific and technological advances.”
Dr. Voss is often called upon by the media and has given many TV, radio, magazine, and newspaper interviews, including Northwest Afternoon; KIRO-TV, Northwest Cable News, and KING-TV health segments; and the Seattle Times and the Post-Intelligencer and New Beauty Magazine.
“I volunteer to care for women with scars from domestic violence. I support many auctions that raise money to help schools and medical research”.
Dr. Voss believes in supporting her community. She enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking and skiing. Her special passion is swimming and competes on a Masters Swim team in Kirkland. In fact, in her youth she was an All-American Swimmer and enjoyed a full athletic scholarship to university. She says she has a “swimming family” – her husband, daughter and son live in Kirkland and enjoy the sport together. In August 2013, Dr. Voss swam across the Dardanelles in Turkey with her husband Karl.
