About The doctor
- Dr. Franks received her Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University, graduating with the highest honor (Alpha Omega Alpha), and then pursued an internship at Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She then performed her Dermatology Residency at NYU’s Department of Dermatology where she became Chief Resident and also spent a fellowship year of basic science research. Upon her completion at NYU, she entered the USAF Medical Corps and served Active Duty with the rank of Major as a Dermatologist at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland from 1990-1994.
A diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Linda Franks is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society of Dermatologic surgery, the Medical Society of the State and County of New York, and the Dermatology Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
