Can I breastfeed after inverted nipple surgery?
I had inverted nipple correction when I was in my early 20's because of how it impacted my self confidence. I first started with a procedure where the nipple was pulled and suctioned in a shell for a week or so, but that did not stick. Therefore, I then had the procedure where my ducts were cut, which was of course very effective.
I am now in my mid-30's and know I will not be able to breastfeed. Is there any way to get that ability back? Any procedure to reverse what had been done?
Hi. Sorry, but there is no way to fix that if the ducts were cut. If not all of the ducts were cut, then it may be possible but this would be unlikely based on what you said.
