Can I get a facelift if I am 70 years old?
It is a miracle that I figured out how to post on this forum. I am 70 years old and not very good at computers. Am I too old to get a facelift? 70 is the new 60 nowadays so would it be ok if I was 60? If it is not recommended that I have the procedure what are the reasons?
There's no such thing as too old, but there's such a thing as too unhealthy. My records is 87 years young! As long as you're healthy, you can certainly look into it. Best wishes. RM

Hello User12802, Congratulations in your post on this forum, and for being up to date with technology. If your primary physician clears you out and your health is good enough to have an elective surgery then you are ready to have the procedure you want.
Please make sure that you and your surgeon are on the same page. Don't forget to discuss all your concerns, options and expectations thoroughly. Have a safe and pleasant PS Journey!

Age alone is not a factor in determining eligibility for a facelift. Rather, good general health and a good attitude are most important. Your first step would be to visit several plastic surgeons for an evaluation. Expect to receive varying opinions and fees. If you are then determined to proceed, choose the surgeon with whom you feel most comfortable and confident.
