Can I get large breast implants if its my first breast augmentation?

I want to enlarge my breasts significantly without undergoing several surgeries to get my desired results. Is this possible? I'm already terrified of knives and stitches and scars... Not to mention the money I'll need to spend. What can happen if I choose large implants from the very beginning? Will I have enough skin to cover the implants?

Hi, there are advantages and disadvantages of using large implants.  Yes, you can put in large implants, but the actual amount will depend on your anatomy.  Also, putting in larger implants will stretch your muscles a little more, and thus can cause more soreness from the surgery (although this should be temporary).  Your best bet would be to go to a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and desires, and then he/she can give you much more precise information after he/she does the consultation.  Best of luck!

Hi Wendy, Thank you for your inquiry. It is difficult to give you an answer without having photos. You should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon in person. He or she will measure your breasts and determine what size is the largest you can have. Unfortunately, you may require more than one surgery depending on how large you wish to go.
