Can you close your eyes right after eyelid surgery?

Is there a period of time after blepharoplasty where you have to keep your eyes open? I blink a lot as it is, so I’m a little worried about this if I decide to have surgery.

You had better hope that you would close your eyes after surgery!  Most patients don't have a problem after the first couple of days when the swelling improves.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified.
