Can you get microdermabrasion if you're pregnant?

I just learned that I am a little over eight weeks pregnant. I had my first microdermabrasion treatment just a little over two months ago. At that time, I scheduled a follow-up appointment not knowing I'd get pregnant and I'm supposed to go next month. I'll be three months pregnant at that time. I had microdermabrasion for acne scars and I was given a numbing agent on my face. I guess that's what worries me, that my skin will absorb the chemicals and it will go into my bloodstream. Should I reschedule for after I deliver? I'm really not sure what to do.

At our clinic we have a limited number of treatments that pregnant women can receive. Dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and select facials are offered. But without numbing cream.

Its most important to stop retinol or Retin-A or similar products because they cause birth defects. Salicylic acts and peels we stay away from too.
