Certain surgeons specialize in extra large breast implants?
My tastes for extra large breast implants have been increasing since I was a teenager. Right now I am a full B cup but I just cannot shake the urge to go up to a double D. Are there surgeons out there that specifically specialize in extra large implants? I want to find the best surgeon possible to finally fulfill my dream.
Thank you for the question and I would go on some complimentary consultations with experts board certified by the American board of Plastic Surgeons and be evaluated in person and compare recommendations and look at photos of similar patients and find your surgeon

Yes, many plastic surgeons specialize in large breast implants and overfilled saline implants.
The first thing to keep in mind regarding larger implants is that it's not always possible for a single breast augmentation surgery to take you from a smaller cup size directly to a large cup size. Your plastic surgeon will need to take measurements of your chest wall and breast mound sizes to assess whether or not large breast implants will fit your frame. There's no single "right size" for every patient who wants a DD cup.
Without a direct examination I can't give you any specific recommendations, but I suggest that you try getting comfortable with new breast sizes by trying on silicone gel sizers first.
XL breast implants have a higher likelihood of complications like bottoming out or developing stretch marks. For this reason especially I strongly encourage you to seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon who ideally has extensive experience with extra-large implants. Remember to do your own research by reviewing patient testimonials and before and after photos of your surgeon’s past successes.

Yes, there are plastic surgeons who specialize in extra-large breast implants.
Please keep in mind that there are no fixed measurements for cup sizes. Which sizes work best for you will depend on your precise measurements. After determining what size your own frame and anatomy will accommodate, I would recommend choosing an implant size by trying on gel sizers, rather than targeting a "DD" cup size.
An oversized implant carries an increased risk of complications, so remember to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in order to ensure your safety.
We’ve had great success with breast implant surgery of all sizes. I encourage you to contact us for an initial consultation so we can determine which implant size fits best with your goals.
