Considering fat transfer to my buttocks
I want my butt to look bigger and fuller, and I’ve been considering a Butt Lift for a while now. I am a bit overweight (average height, 170 lbs). How much fat can I transfer to my butt? What other things should I consider before moving forward?
Hi. You can transfer that from all parts of your body to your buttocks. You should be at a stable weight, because if you lose weight after surgery, this will affect the results. A Brazilian butt lift can enlarge the volume of your buttocks, but it also involves contouring of the surrounding areas with liposuction to enhance the shape. Best of luck!
Dr. Jonathan Heistein has 1 Fat Transfer before & after:
Whatever fat is available throughout your body (abdomen, thighs, flanks, back, arms, etc.) can be transferred. I would point out that a Brazilian Buttock Lift (BBL) is more than just fat grafting to the buttocks. A significant part of it is liposuctioning the areas around the buttocks (above, below, sides) to enhance the shape. That said, I recommend getting to your goal weight before any body contouring procedures. Losing or gaining weight afterwards can affect the results.
