CoolSculpting, SculpSure, or Liposuction to eliminate fat?

CoolSculpting, SculpSure and liposuction all seem to be similar treatments to eliminate excess fat. Which treatment do you prefer at your practice and why?

The consultation is required to determine the amount of excess fat and the quality of the skin to determine body contouring procedures. if you have too much loose skin you have to remove skin with a lift, tuck or plasty type procedure. If there is a significant amount of fat Liposuction with or without added ienergy such as laser or ultrasound is helpful and for conservative amount of fat the noninvasive stuff can be very effective. Personally I strongly prefer sculpture .  To me cool sculpting was a nice first step in on noninvasive body contouring but sculpsure is the next step. Cool sculpting required loose enough skin to suck up into the devices, sculpture-is applicators that are cinched down on the skin to shoot straight down so you don't have to have loose skin . Cool sculpting didn't lead to any skin tightening. Sculpsure being a laser it also leads to some skin tightening.  Some patients had chronic pain from Cool sculpting  from neuromas . And cool sculpting ended up not working on  hey significant percentage  of people.  I have traded several people who even had rebound hyperplasia or overgrowth of fat after cool sculpting .    We have not had anybody who thought that their sculpsure treatment was not worthwhile and wanted a refund ,  which did happen a few times with the cool sculpting

Hello, ClaudiaYale! Thanks for the question. CoolSculpting and Sculpsure are non-invasive modalities used for fat reduction via freezing fat or using energy respectively. In my practice I choose to use liposuction, specifically Smartlipo. This device allows me to remove fat directly and selectively from areas that are stubborn and resistant to diet and exercise.
