Do Flat-Chested Women Benefit from Hormone Therapy?

I am an A cup and am looking for ways to increase my breast size without undergoing surgery. Would I benefit from hormone therapy in the same way that men do when going through gender reassignment? Isn’t the purpose in that case to grow breasts from nothing? With that thinking I could technically grow my own breasts, right?

Hello Lorraine, this is an excellent question. For patients who biologically begin as women, it is not recommended to start hormone therapy for larger breasts. Having already natural levels of certain hormones in your system, increasing those amounts for an extended period of time can lead to increased risk of heart disease, stroke, breast cancer, and blood clots.
