Do Horizontal Forehead Lines need multiple Botox Units?

A local doctor in my area is having a deal on Botox Units and I am wondering how many people typically need for Forehead lines. I am a 39-year-old woman that has had a large amount of sun exposure of the years. What is a safe bet for how many units I would need?

This of course will depend on what we see on exam if you are seen for a consultation. A good ballpark for many patients is 10-20 units for the forehead excluding the glabella (frown lines), which often need 15-20 units depending on the patient, goals, muscle mass, etc.

Depending on how deep the lines are, you  might need anywhere from 2-3 units to 20-30 units, so the best way ti consult with a reputable plastic surgeon to find out what can be done.

The average number of units used to treat the forehead has decreased over the last 10 years in my practice to about 6 units.  The range is 3 to 18 units.  Patients are wanting to keep their brows elevated (means less units) and are satisfied with improvement of the horizontal lines not having them go all away.
