Does Botox work for migraines?

I've suffered terrible headaches since forever. When I get them I can never sleep for more than a few hours in a row and I wake up close to vomiting some nights. It would be amazing to find a way to solve this problem. I don’t know of anyone ever fixing his or her migraines with Botox, but a couple of the doctors I’ve consulted with this month told me that this is actually a real solution for me. It’s hard to believe Botox can have anything to do with migraines so I’m trying to find people who've done it and see if it worked for them.

Botox is very effective at reducing the severity and frequency of migraines.  The injections are placed at certain trigger points in the head and scalp at 3 month intervals.
