Does a breast reduction decrease the level of sensitivity?

Knowing that the doctor will cut a large portion of my breast tissue, I can't help but think that I'm putting my sensitivity at risk. What are the chances of losing most of my sensitivity in the surrounding breast area after the surgery? Maybe I'm paranoid, but I want to hear it from a doctor.

A breast reduction is one of the most poular and rewarding plastic surgery procedures because it provides both functional relief ( backache, neck pain, bra strap indentations, under the breast irritation) as well as cosmetic improvement. There  may be sensory changes to the nipples( although thay may already be diminishes or absent as a result of the large breasts). Any sensory changes is but a small price to pay considering all the above benefits.
