Does dermabrasion make facial hair grow thicker?

Dermabrasion sounded like a great idea until I realized I have blonde, almost clear facial hair that will be removed with my old skin. Won't my face feel scratchy? If my hair is at risk for growing darker and thicker, then I'm certainly not going to try it.

No they will not grow back thicker. These are vellus hair and do not have the same properties as terminal hairs that grow in dark and thick. Dermaplaning and microdermabrasion are very good procedures for exfoliating the skin.
