How long until I see results from gynecomastia liposuction?
I’m impatient and my doctor told me it could take several weeks to start to see results, and even longer before I see more permanent results. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I do see a difference but it’s not much. I’m just frustrated and a little afraid to go back to my doctor already and ask him what’s going on.
Liposuction alone is only rarely sufficient to treat gynecomastia. Usually, direct excision of the gland tissue under the nipple is required.
On the other hand, if you are only two weeks post op, there is probably some swelling which should diminish over time. Be patient but eventually return to your surgeon to discuss the results.
