How quickly can I resume daily activities after Breast Augmentation?

How long after surgery can I get back into my daily routine? My breast augmentation is scheduled for next week, and I have 4 days off from work, but I want to minimize my downtime when it comes to exercise. My son's wedding is this summer, and I need to look my best! My doctor indicated I should wait at least a month or two before getting back into my normal workout routine, but I was hoping it would be sooner. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Hi. One month is an appropriate amount of time to take off from strenuous activity and exercise. Lighter activities can be done right away, but it is important to protect the implants whole they are healing. That way you can do everything in your power to achieve a great outcome.  Best of luck

Hi-

I think that 4-6 weeks is a very reasonable time to wait before undergoing any aggressive exercise. You want to give an ample amount of time for your incision and soft tissue to heal to get your best possible result. Good Luck!!
