I need a cosmetic surgery to fix my big ears
I often want to get my hair done in different styles, but because I have big ears, I end up covering them all the time with my hair, and with a hat (during winter). I don't know what pushed me, but now I have to courage to address this issue and I want to get it done as soon as possible. How do I prepare for this?
Thank you for sharing your question. The procedure that directly adresses prominent ears is an Otoplasty. This procedure can be done under local anesthesia. To prepare, I inform my patients that they will need a sports-like thick headband to wear after the surgery. This helps the ears heal in the correct place. You may need to wear this for about two weeks, and then just at night. You should be able to return to work in 1 week, depending on your line of work. Please see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for consultations on this procedure. I hope this was helpful to you.
Best Wishes, Dr. B.

You are going to want an otoplasty (ear pinning). Seek an experienced board certified plastic surgeon who will evaluate all of the issues causing you to be unhappy, and then, form a surgical plan to correct them.
This operation can make a huge difference in your life.
All the best.
