Is Brachioplasty Surgery an Outpatient Procedure?
I am considering having brachioplasty surgery but wanted to know how painful the procedure is? Are there ways to limit the amount of pain you experience during the procedure? Thank you!
Brachioplasty is normally performed as an outpatient procedure in which you go home the same day. However, you should always have the option to stay overnight at an aftercare facility or hospital room, if you wish. The postoperativ discomfort is typically very manageable. Local anesthetic used the during surgery often helps limit postoperative discomfort for a certain amount of time during the first night or so after surgery.
