Is a Hispanic Rhinoplasty Different Than a Caucasian One?

I am a 27 year old hispanic female and have a small bump on the bridge of my nose I want corrected. I have read that different ethnicities require different surgical techniques to get a desirable result. Would I be making a mistake by going to a plastic surgeon who mostly does caucasian noses?

Not necessarily.  Excellent rhinoplasty surgeons will do good work on noses of all ethnicities.  However, you should be sure that your chosen surgeon understands your desired appearance and is sensitive to variations in cultural norms for appearance of the nose.

No. There are different techniques for ethnic noses but the anatomy is the same. An experienced plastic surgeon would have no problem correcting your concern.

Rhinoplasty is rhinoplasty. Ethnic rhinoplasties are different "flavors" based on anatomic variations but the priniciples are the same. An experienced rhinoplasty surgeon, regardless of race, is safe IF and only if he understands your unique desires and goals.
