Is my Gynecomastia Fatty Tissue or Breast Tissues?
I cannot tell if my gynecomastia is caused by fatty tissue or breast tissue. Are there any rules of thumb that might help me understand more? To me, my chest just feels fatty, so determining what type of fat is what I am having trouble with. If I do just have fatty tissue does that mean that I can work out and see a positive change?
If an expert in the field has difficulty on examination determining whether breast tissue is there, he can order a mammogram which will clearly give a diagnosis. But even if it is fat you may need surgery to fully flatten your chest though diet and exercise won't hurt.
Hello Indominus, thank you for your inquiry and your picture. It is difficult to advice without examining you, you need an in person consultation in order to determine which kind of surgery you need, it would be either liposuction, excision or a combination of both which is pretty common.
Please make sure that you and your surgeon are on the same page. Don't forget to discuss all your concerns, options and expectations thoroughly. Have a safe and pleasant PS Journey!
