Is there a way that I can get rid of puffy nipples?

Is it normal to have puffy looking nipples all the time? I really don’t like the way they look and was hoping there was a way to get rid of the constant puffiness. What cosmetic procedures would help?

Hi.  Thank you for your inquiry!  You probably have a mild form of gynecomastia, which is a fancy term for male breast tissue.  This can be removed with a minor surgery to fix the problem.  Of course, you would need to have a formal exam to make sure this is the correct diagnosis, so make an appointment with a board certified PS to take the next step.  Best of luck!

It sounds like you have gynecomastia, a benign condition in males where you have excess breast tissue, most prominently just under the nipples.  I would first make sure that you are not eating any foods or taking any medications that can cause gynecomastia.  That said, gynecomastia reduction is a safe, effective, straightforward surgical procedure where the excess breast tissue gets removed.  I recommend that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.
