I've had back surgery. Would a doctor be willing to give me breast reduction?
I've had many back surgeries, the last one in 2008. I've had back surgeries because I have a back disorder called Scoliosis.
I also have rather big breast, and they do not help with the awkwardness in my shoulders, neck and back that I have. I was wondering if a doctor would be willing to give me a breast reduction even if I had a major surgery on my back.
Yes! Having a breast reduction will only add to relief from further back stress. It's a great idea for anyone with back issues, since there is almost always improvement. I would suggest going for a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your specific situation, so you can get a real idea of what to expect. Best of luck!

Prior back surgery is not a contraindication for breast reduction surgery. Breast reduction surgery may actually help to improve your symptoms if they are due to the weight of your large breasts. I would see a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. They should be able to evaluate you to see if breast reduction surgery would be beneficial.
