My Sculptra Injections went great, are they Permanent?
I feel great after my recent Sculptra injections. My hope is that these results are permanent. Everyone I talk to thinks that I look ten years younger. To be honest, if the results are not permanent I would gladly pay for the treatment again.
The rule of thumb with sculptra is it lasts 2 to 3 years. I have several patients who don't want to wait till its gone and "go back to baseline" so we do smaller treatments every 6 months or so for maintenance. There are permanent fillers out there but most practitioners don't recommend using them since things may change over time.
We use Sculptra a lot for Facial Volume restoration - The Liquid Facelift. Sculptra lifts the cheeks, the jowls and can help define the jawline. We have found it lots over 2 1/2 years. The biggest issue with Sculptra is that it takes 3 months to work, since it stimulates your body to make new collagen.
Bumps rarely happen, but are easily treated if they do arise.
