What do I do if I'm unhappy with my rhinoplasty results?

I had a rhinoplasty five days ago. I had slightly wide, bulbous nose and I wanted a narrower and straight nose but when I went for my bandage replacement I saw that my new nose is still crooked and asymmetrical it just has a lifted tip now. Is this only a temporary change? Will I be getting the nose that I wanted? I'm starting to panic and lose hope that I'll ever have the nose I want.

Swelling after surgery may last up to a year. Please be patient and continue to follow up with your surgeon. Their may be interventions to decrease the swelling or straighten the nose without a major revision.

You are still very early in the healing process.  You would not want to consider any revision before 6 months.  I would advise staying in contact with your surgeon as you continue to heal and the swelling goes down.

Thanks for your question. Please make sure you follow up closely with your surgeon. You are incredibly early in the postop recovery period and swelling after surgery can sometimes be uneven, making your nose appear crooked when it is not. Warm regards.REFINE Surgery
