What is the cost of laser treatment for stretch marks?

What types of specifics go into the total cost of laser treatment for stretch marks? I have about one thousand dollars to spend and want to get rid of all the stretch marks on my upper thighs and bum. Is that enough cash to get the job done? If not, what causes the price to fluctuate?

Before you do anything, I think it’s important to note that there are currently no treatments that can get rid of stretch marks completely. Stretch marks occur when your skin is stretched too quickly, causing the dermis (the thick layer of skin below the epidermis) to tear.

As it stands, there is no stretch mark treatment option that can fully repair these deep tears. Laser treatments can help to a certain extent, but even they cannot completely eliminate stretch marks. Similarly, lotions and topical creams may promote healthy skin, but they are also unable to fully get rid of stretch marks. In some cases, a tummy tuck can be used as an effective stretch mark removal technique, but this is not a suitable option given the location of your stretch marks.

Although laser stretch mark removal isn’t 100% effective, it can remove some of the redness and help smooth out your skin. Depending on your requirements, your plastic surgeon may recommend an excimer laser, which uses ultraviolet light to target skin tissue on a molecular level and remove the tissue around your stretch marks.

Regarding stretch mark removal costs, it’s impossible to provide an accurate estimate for laser treatment without assessing you in person. With that being said, your budget of $1,000 will probably not be enough to cover the costs.

Laser stretch mark removal is a fairly complex procedure that typically involves multiple sessions. In addition, your plastic surgeon may employ a variety of methods to treat your stretch marks, which will also drive up the price. The cost also depends on the severity of your stretch marks and your geographic location. I strongly recommend taking the time to see a board-certified plastic surgeon to get a better understanding of your options before committing to any stretch mark removal treatment.

Below is a complete estimation.

The price of treatments per area to improve stretch marks range form $150 (micro needling) to fraxel laser $400 to Intracel RF micro needling $500-700 each session.  All these treatments need multiple treatments.  I now completely speculate on your potential results -  30% improvement for #6 micro needling and 50%-60% improvement with 3 to 4 Fraxel or Intracel.  Fractal has more downtime and pain.

Bad news is stretch marks never 'go away'.  We can improve them with fractional laser or IntraCell RF micro needling treatments.  This usually takes multiple treatments to get 40 to 75% improvement.
