What is Fraxel Dual? How's it different from the rest?
With all the information and phrasing out there on the Internet it’s pretty easy to get confused. What should I keep in mind when considering a Fraxel Dual, and what is it exactly? I keep getting the all of the different laser options for the face mixed up. How should I be keeping them separate when researching?
Fraxel Dual is a device that allows the doctor to switch the laser wavelength between 1550 nm (for wrinkles and pores and scars) and 1927 nm (for brown spot and sun pigmentation. It's a workhorse device, very reliable, and preferred by many plastic surgeons and dermatologists to other on-trick pony laser devices.
