What is involved in a brow lift procedure?

Tags:consultation local anesthesia anesthesia

As a potential patient, what can I expect to have happen should I undergo a brow lift procedure? Obviously there is a consultation where the procedure would be explained but I'd like to have a sense of what I'm up against even before I book a consultation with someone in my area. Will there be anesthesia involved or is a numbing agent sufficient? I can handle both but, again, just as a way of preparing myself, I'd really appreciate any responses my questions may generate. Thank you.

Many of my patients are satisfied with a brow lift that comes from botox

Most browlifts are performed under general anesthesia.  You can expect a recovery time of 1 to 2 weeks for initial swelling and bruising to resolve.
