What Makes You a Good Candidate For Liposuction?

I'm interested in having liposuction. I'm slightly overweight but workout pretty frequently. What makes someone an ideal candidate for liposuction?

Great question!  Liposuction is ideal for someone who is at a stable weight, but just has a few areas of fat that don't seem to go away with proper healthy diet and exercise.  Liposuction won't help you lose weight but it will provide improvement in your body contour and shape.  Hope that helps.  Best of luck!

An ideal candidate for liposuction is generally healthy, and is close to their goal weight. Liposuction is best used as a contouring tool, and not a weight loss tool. Many liposuction candidates have problem areas that do not resolve with exercise and diet, despite their best efforts. It is best to seek the advice of a board certified plastic surgeon who can perform a physical exam and discuss your options.
