At what point can I remove my Facelift Sutures?

When can I remove the sutures after getting a facelift? I want to get back to work as soon as possible and with sutures in I cannot do that. Some people say 3 days afterwards is good. Will it matter if I take them out after two days instead? How important is the total amount of days waited?

The answer is... don't take out your sutures without the specific instructions of your surgeon.  He/She will have a time that is appropriate for you and you should trust his/her advice on this subject.  Typically, 3-7 days is the range, but everyone is different.  Ask your surgeon!

If you are thinking of taking out your own sutures, that is a horrible idea.  Check with your surgeon before doing ANYTHING, if you don't you can create a big problem for your self.  Your surgeon has his or her own protocol that they follow.  Please, please do not remove your own sutures.
