Where exactly are the incisions made for a mid-face lift?

For a facelift, incisions must be around the hairline, but I don't understand how the doctor pulls the cheeks up during a mid-face lift. Where would the incions be for the cheeks?

The midface area is a triangle located between the inner and outer corners of the eyes and the corner of the mouth.  There are many surgical approaches to the midface -- through the traditional hairline incisions near the ear and also from the scalp via endoscopic means.  My inclination is to take a direct approach via an incision just below the eyelashes.  This provides the most direct access to the midface.  It enables me to provide a vertical lift in that area and I can improve the lower eyelids at the same time.
