Why should I choose a Dual Plane Breast Augmentation?

Should I go under or over the muscle if I am considering a breast augmentation? From what I see online one of these is called a Dual Plane Breast Augmentation. Is the decision between the two based on physical attributes or is it just preference of what you want the results to be? I am 26 and want to go from an A to C.

Hi, dual plane breast augmentation is the most common approach and usually works for most people.  It allows the top part of the implant to be covered by muscle so that you have a more natural look.  And the bottom part is not constricted by muscle so it can achieve a more full and rounded look.  Best of luck!

Dual plane breast augmentation combines the best elements of sub muscular and subglandular augmentation. The top portion of the implant in a dual plane technique is covered by muscle which provides some benefit in terms of reducing capsular contracture. The lower portion of the implant is covered by breast gland tissue which helps create a more natural appearance.
