Hi! My name is Bri Dotson and I'm 21 years old from Boston, Massachusetts.

For years I struggled with hyperhidrosis which is excessive sweating in the underarms, face, hands or feet.

I remember being a little seventh grader wearing long sleeves in 90-degree weather because I was embarrassed to wear a t-shirt.

I didn't want people to see my sweat stains from my severe underarm sweating.

I also remember not being able to hold anyones hands because I didn't want them to feel how clammy they were.

I lived with a major insecurity for many years because I couldn't find a remedy that actually worked and would help stop my sweating.

I tried everything from organic deodorants to sticking pads in my shirts and still nothing worked.

I was doing some research one day and I came across a website that mentioned that you could get Botox injections in your underarms to stop the sweating.

I immediately got thrilled.

I was listening to people's before and after stories and I knew that Botox was something that I needed in my life to feel confident again.

I immediately made an appointment with Dr. David Greenstein at Northeast Dermatology Associates in Beverly, MA to get a consultation.

Surprisingly enough, Botox was pretty much covered through my insurance because it's considered a medical condition, so I didn't have to pay much. This was great because I was a broke student at the time.

I ended up paying $80 for the co-pay and that was it!

The procedure was quick and painless.

I remember the whole appointment being under 20 minutes and I was shocked how quick it work.

I got that procedure done about 2 years ago and I've gone back one other time to get a touch up.

I'm proud to say that I no longer have to keep my arms by my side and wear dark colors anymore because my excess sweating has diminished so much!

I can confirm that botox works as a great hyperhidrosis treatment. It's not a cure but it's a good treatment.

My sweat glands are finally under control thanks to my botox treatments and I don't have to be so self-conscious anymore.

I am so happy to say that I am finally confident with my appearance and feel better than ever!
