Should Have Got My Upper Bleph Sooner
Upper eyelid lift
I don’t know why I waited so long to get an upper blepharoplasty. I’ve probably needed one for the past decade and was too scared to get it done. The surgery itself was not an uncomfortable experience and I had no pain during the procedure. My surgery was done under a local anesthetic with twilight sedation. The sedation relaxed me and the anesthetic made the procedure painless. I was able to return home right after the procedure and spent the first week icing my eyes on and off every 15 minutes. I was more bruised than swollen and looked decent after I had my sutures removed ten days post-op. I live in a warm weather area, so by day 4 I was traveling around with my sunglasses on. I had no infections or complications during my recovery and I’m really hoppy with the way my eyes look now. My upper eyelids no longer hand down to my lashes like they used to. This procedure has rejuvenated my whole face and has made me feel better about myself.
