Procedure review

Hi Everyone - My name is Theresa and this review will be a bit unusual. I actually went to my doctor to receive lip fillers and ended up having both my lips an under-eye area injected. After my lip filler injections were finished, there was still some filler left, so I had my under-eye area injected. Although I ultimately ended up finding out Volbella is a better lip filler than Voluma(because it lasts much longer IMO), Voluma worked amazingly well to smooth out my under-eye hollows and creases.

Having my under-eye area injected was a bit more painful than my lip injections, although I wouldn't consider either one overly painful. It just hurt a bit more having a needle stuck under my eyes versus into my lips. I certainly don't mean to scare anyone considering under-eye fillers. It isn't scary or painful. I promise!

If you're sitting at home reading my review, I'm sure you either have some volume loss in your tear trough area like me that is causing depressions or small creases. If so, then I think Voluma is an excellent filler choice.

Of all the fillers I've tried - Voluma, Volbella, Juvederm and Restylane, Voluma was one of the smoothest fillers. It didn't leave any bumps, bruising or swelling at the injection sites. This was not my experience with Restylane, which I found to be a 'rougher filler.' By rougher, I mean it left some bumps and bruises after being injected. It's possible this was because of my injector used a poor technique during my filler treatment, but I'm not so certain. I think my body simply reacted better to Voluma and Volbella.

At the end of the day, if you're suffering from under eye hollows, creases, volume loss or anything else in your under eye area, I do recommend Voluma. There are other injectable fillers that I'm sure would work just as well for some people, but I am a huge fan on Voluma.
