Will a lower body lift fix my loose skin after bariatric surgery?
As advertised, my bariatric surgery helped me loose weight which has been amazing. Honestly, I feel truly blessed. However, I'm not as happy about the sate of my lower body. Honey my legs feel like a flying squirrel in a wind storm. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I feel like my doc should have done a better job warning me about just how much skin there would be. Now it looks like my best option will be a lower body lift, but I want to be certain that I'm not inviting any new issues. Will a lower body lift be the end of this trouble?
Hello. A lower body lift can help to substantially reduce the amount of excess skin following bariatric surgery. I suggest scheduling a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss the surgery in greater detail, while assessing how much tissue will be removed from the procedure. Good luck!
