Can a neck lift get rid of a double chin?

My double chin is the bane of my existence. I'm not overweight but I've always had this stubborn double chin. I want to get a neck lift under my chin but I want to be sure that it will work. Has anyone been through this before?

My whole life, I suffered from having a double chin. When I consulted with my doctor, he told me that a standard neck lift would not get rid of my double chin completely. He told me my best option was to have neck liposuction in combination with a neck lift. I decided to go through with it and I am thankful I did. The procedure got rid of my double chin and my neck is still toned 10 years later. The procedure requires 3 small incisions; one behind each ear and one under the chin. In my experience, the incisions heal quite well and my scars disappeared almost completely. I definitely recommend getting both liposuction and a neck lift.

The main reason why I got neck lift surgery was because I wanted to improve the look of my facial features, especially my neck and jawline without changing the appearance of my face too much. So I went to a facial plastic surgeon and he recommended I get a neck lift to fix the sagging skin around my jaw and my double chin that was caused by the loose skin. It took me about two weeks to recover fully from the procedure, but overall I really liked the result. The skin around my neck is a lot tighter and smoother now. I am using some neck masks and skin creams as well to maintain the moisture and brightness of the skin, which my doctor said would help with the appearance of my neck as well. He said a lot of the time its the texture of skin that makes it look sagging or bad, so I’ve been trying out a lot of different masks and creams to help with that. In response to your question though, I found my neck lift to help with the double chin from my sagging skin. I think it could be a good option for you.

Yes, it worked for me! I never though that I'd get plastic surgery, but I was a good candidate and I am so happy that I took the plunge. My double chin was the worst thing about me. I was overweight though, so it definitely contributed to the issue. But I knew that I wanted it gone and it seemed like even when I lost weight, it wasn’t going anywhere.

A friend recommended a neck lift to me and I am so happy that I decided to go for it. I can honestly say that it got rid of my double chin for good. People have commented on how good my face looks now - it has really made a difference. I wouldn’t worry if I were you! I’m only sorry that I waited so long to get it done.
