What is Platysmaplasty Surgery?

I recently had Coolsculpting for my "turkey neck" and did not get the results that I was hoping for.  I am convince that non-invasive procedures are not going to help me because I am older and my neck is definitely sagging a good amount.  I asked about a neck lift and my plastic surgeon mentioned something about Platysmaplasty Surgery, which he explained to be very similar to a neck lift.  Can someone shed some light on this surgery?

Hi TurkeyNecker,

Platysmaplasty surgery, also commonly known as ‘corset platysmaplasty,’ is a type of neck lift surgery that tightens and reconstructs the platysma muscle to repair sagging or banding skin on the neck. The procedure rejuvenates the neck, restoring it to a more aesthetically pleasing shape and contour.
