Dry Skin

My skin dries up very quick, especially after showers.  Is there any over the counter recommendation?

Home remedies like eating anti aging food and fruits is good for skin and overall health. These foods are loaded with plenty of nutrients that is required by the body for our optimal health. They nourish the system internally. With the plethora of anti-aging solutions out there, considering natural ways seems to be the best choice and an inexpensive one too with zero side-effects. I have gone through an article regarding this "Super Effective Anti Aging Home Remedies" at zovon.

The best hydrating lotion is HA5 by SkinMedica, which has 5 different types of hyaluronic acid. It also lasts around 8 hours, unlike the newest over-the-counter products by Neutrogena (e.g. their Hydro Boost Gel), which lasts for approximately 2 hours. After HA5, I would apply SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream, which is great moisturizer that you can use everyday!

Aquaphor makes some great products for dry skin. I also love Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Lotion with SPF 15.

The original Eucerin works great on my dry skin. I put it on after showers. Its very thick so a little goes a long way.

Eucerin is great. I used it when I went on Accutane, and my skin was dry as a bone.

Awesome thanks!

Thanks Brad! I am going to try some Eucerin!

Hope it helps!

I also suffer from very dry skin but I just use an over the counter lotion by Gold Bond which works fine for me.  I think most of the lotions for extreme dryness work pretty well if you keep applying it.  I use it once in the morning and then have some in my office for the afternoon
